How to Burn Captions Onto Your Videos
How to Burn Captions Onto Your Videos
Updated over a week ago

All videos are automatically transcribed and captions can be burned onto your videos. You can also download the SRT and VTT files (see below for more information). You can display closed captions when your video is muted. You can add captions to your prompts, replies and mixes.

To view the transcription and burn captions onto your StoryPrompt, go to Transcript underneath your video preview.

Transcript

You will then see two sections:

  • Summary - This is an automatically summarized transcription of the text.

  • Full Text - This is the full transcription of the video.

Captions

This tab allows you to edit the transcription and play each section separately.

Settings

This tab allows you to toggle if you would like to display captions when the video is muted.

You can download the SRT file, VTT file and Burn Captions onto the video.

  • SRT File - SubRip File Format - This can be used in a hosted video player like Facebook or LinkedIn

  • VTT FIle - Video Text Track - This can be used in a hosted video player on the web like Vimeo or YouTube

  • Burn Captions - This means you add the captions are embedded onto the video and can be downloaded.

If captions are burned onto the video, it can then be downloaded as an MP4.
