All videos are automatically transcribed and captions can be burned onto your videos. You can also download the SRT and VTT files (see below for more information). You can display closed captions when your video is muted and add captions to your prompts, replies and videos.
To view the transcription and burn captions onto your StoryPrompt, go to Transcript underneath your video preview.
You will then see four tabs:
Captions - Edit the captions of the video.
Transcription - View the full transcription of the video.
Preview Video - Preview the video with the captions.
Download - Download the SRT and VTT files as well as the captioned videos with the transcriptions burned on.
Captions
You can view the captions, make edits to individual words, and play the captions. You can also use the dropdown to select whether you'd like to show captions or not as well as preview the captions.
Transcription
This tab shows you the full transcription of the video. This is divided into Summary and Transcription. Summary uses AI to summarize the video and transcription is the full, unsummarized version.
Preview Video
You can play the video with the captions on it.
Download
You can download the SRT file, VTT file and Burn Captions onto the video.
SRT File - SubRip File Format - This can be used in a hosted video player like Facebook or LinkedIn
VTT FIle - Video Text Track - This can be used in a hosted video player on the web like Vimeo or YouTube
Burn Captions - This means you add the captions are embedded onto the video and can be downloaded.
If captions are burned onto the video, it can then be downloaded as an MP4.
