How to Add a Welcome Page to Your StoryPrompt
Updated over 9 months ago

When you create a StoryPrompt, you have the option to add in a welcome page. If you choose not to use a welcome page, once the respondent clicks on your StoryPrompt link they will instantly be taken to your StoryPrompt.

Please read this article for more information on how to collect your first testimonial.

To add a Welcome Page, go to Configure your StoryPrompt and select Welcome Page.

If you would prefer not to have a welcome page, you can simple ignore this step when you get to Configure your StoryPrompt.

The welcome page is the first page the respondent will see when they click on your link to view your StoryPrompt. This is where you can add all the information that you'd like them to know about your StoryPrompt, for example: what's going to happen to their video, how you'd like them to record their response etc.

You can add the following settings to your welcome page:

  1. Title - This is the title to be used on your welcome page.

  2. Welcome message - This is a note that you can add. In this example, I have added a message thanking the respondent for recording a testimonial.

  3. Subtitle - This is the subtitle on the page.

  4. How it works - This is where you explain the process for example how you want them to record a testimonial.

  5. Button text - Here you can change the text on the button. The respondent will click on this button when they are ready to begin the process.

  6. Ask for consent - This can be toggled on or off. When this is on, the respondent will be agreeing to give you consent to use their response.

  7. Customize content text - Here you can edit the consent text or keep as our default.
