Templates are very useful for two main reasons:
You might not know where to begin and our suggested templates can give you ideas of questions to ask.
You might want to send the same StoryPrompt to a number of customers and you don't want to record the prompt each time.
Using Our Suggested Templates
We have many templates that you can use either as they are or you can edit the script and retake the video. Please note the default templates include AI voiceovers and stock images but these can be retaken with your own face and voice.
To find the templates go to Pick a template.
You will then be able to view and choose from one of our suggested templates.
Once you have selected one, you can customize the prompt by editing the title, the script, and give your StoryPrompt a name.
Once you have customized, go to Create a StoryPrompt & Customize.
You can then customize your StoryPrompt. Go to Retake at the bottom of the page so you can replace the stock image with your own video.
When recording, you can retake the videos and use the script from the template to help you.
Creating Your Own Template From Scratch
You might want to create your own template if you have created prompts that you would like to send to multiple people but don't want to retake the video every time.
To do this go to My Prompts and Launchpad. Then go to Actions and Save as Template.
You can then give your template a name and description.
Once you've opened the template library, you will see your newly-created template at the top of the page.
You will see three icons: Delete this template, Edit and Copy to a new StoryPrompt (arrow pointing to the right). To use the template, go to Copy to a new StoryPrompt.
You can then add your title and script. The script will show up as a teleprompter when you retake the recording. When this is complete, select Create a StoryPrompt & Customize.
In this example, there are multiple Prompts so you can add a title and script for each individual prompt.
Now you'll be able to add your settings to Configure your StoryPrompt.
What Does 2 Prompts on a Template Mean?
This means that there are multiple prompts (questions) so for example: How did you discover us? What was the problem you were looking to solve?
These will then show as Prompt 1 of 2 and then 2 of 2. After each prompt, your client will be able to respond and then it will go to the next question.
